Who We Are
Founded in 2017 and officially legalized in 2021, STRESSORS Cameroon is a non-governmental civil society organization dedicated to providing strategic relief and social rehabilitation services. We focus on addressing the pressing socio-economic and humanitarian challenges faced by communities in Cameroon, especially in the North West and South West Regions, which have been deeply affected by conflict and displacement.
Our Objectives
our mission is driven by five core objectives aimed at creating a lasting impact in communities across Cameroon. These objectives guide our work and ensure we provide effective, inclusive, and sustainable solutions to some of the most pressing social challenges
Humanitarian Response
We provide lifesaving support to vulnerable communities, especially women, children, and the elderly. Our interventions include food assistance, healthcare services, education support, and psychosocial aid to improve the well-being of displaced and underprivileged individuals.
Community Development
We empower communities by promoting youth leadership, healthcare access, sustainable agriculture, education, and entrepreneurship. Through training, mentorship, and local development projects, we help communities become self-reliant and resilient against socio-economic challenges.
Girls & Women Empowerment
We equip teenage mothers, widows, and young women with vocational skills, financial support, and leadership training. By promoting economic independence and gender equality, we create opportunities for women to thrive and contribute to their communities.
Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention & Response
We combat all forms of violence through awareness campaigns, survivor support programs, and legal advocacy. By engaging communities, law enforcement, and policymakers, we work towards a society where everyone lives free from violence and discrimination.
Social Cohesion & Peacebuilding
We foster unity by promoting religious tolerance, cultural diversity, and peaceful conflict resolution. Through dialogues, advocacy, and youth engagement, we build inclusive communities where peace and mutual respect are prioritized.
